STEAUA Bucharest defender George Galamaz has been released from a hospital after sustaining a broken right cheekbone when a fan punched him during a Romanian league game.
The Military Hospital in Bucharest released Galamaz on Monday after 15 hours of treatment. He will be sidelined for 45 days. The Petrolul Ploiesti fan who ran onto the pitch and punched Galamaz was arrested on charges of committing a violent act and disturbing public order. He was ordered jailed for 29 days pending trial.
