NEW York goaltender Henrik Lundqvist made 36 saves and the Rangers blanked the New Jersey Devils 3-0 in Newark, New Jersey, on Saturday to take the lead in their National Hockey League playoff series. The Rangers seized a 2-1 edge in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference final with the Devils hosting Game 4. The winner will face either Phoenix or Los Angeles in the Stanley Cup Final. New York's Dan Girardi opened the scoring with a powerplay goal 3:19 into the third period with Chris Kreider and Ryan Callahan adding to the tally.
