Record rugby crowd

A WORLD-RECORD attendance for a regular-season club rugby match watched Saracens beat Harlequins on Tuesday. A sellout crowd of 82,000 packed into Twickenham, the home of England's national team, to see the match, which Saracens won 19-11 to end their rival's unbeaten league record. The previous record attendance for a club league match was in 2009 when a game between French teams Stade Francais and Clermont-Auvergne attracted 79,842 spectators.
