DEAN Richards will join Newcastle as director of rugby when his three-year suspension for ordering a player to use a fake blood capsule to feign injury ends in August. Newcastle said the former Leicester and Harlequins coach will be in place for the start of next season. The Falcons are eight points adrift at the bottom of the English Premiership.
