Robles triumphs at French meeting
OLYMPIC champion Dayron Robles easily beat Yevgeniy Borisov of Russia to win the 60-meter hurdles at the Pas de Calais meeting in Lievin, France, on Friday.
Robles, who is scheduled to run at this week's world indoor championships in Doha, Qatar, won in 7.45 seconds on a track where he picked up a hamstring injury last year. The Cuban, who holds the world record in the 110 hurdles, beat Borisov by 0.08 seconds, while Igor Permota of Russia finished third in 7.67.
