Rugby player dies after match injury
A 21-YEAR-OLD rugby player has died two days after he was injured in a tackle during a Brisbane club match in Australia.
The family of Halley Appleby made the decision yesterday to turn off the life support system which was allowing the University of Queensland player to breath. Appleby lost consciousness while in possession of the ball playing for his University team against GPS on Saturday.
