BRITISH police say thieves have done a runner - with an Australian sprinter's kit bag and shoes.
Kent Police said on Saturday that two thieves had stolen athlete Andrew McCabe's training bag, which contained his running spikes, team uniform and cell phone. The 21-year-old is set to compete in the 4x100m relay next Friday. Police said the bag was snatched on Friday from a training center at a school in Tonbridge, about 62km from London's Olympic Stadium.
