Shanghai industry summit

THE 2017 Shanghai Sports Industry Summit was held at the Shanghai University of Sport over the weekend. Nearly 300 sport and academic experts, administrators and investors came together at the summit to discuss a healthy development mode for Shanghai’s sports industry.
Topics like building community sport circles, the role of technology in the popularization of mass sports etc were also on the agenda. Shanghai has set a goal of becoming a world class sports city by the year 2025. Coming into its third year, the summit was jointly organized by the Shanghai University of Sport and the Yangpu District government. It also marked the 65th anniversary of the establishment of the Shanghai University of Sport.
