Shenhua concedes last-gasp equalizer

SHANGHAI Shenhua let a 2-0 lead slip as it was held 2-2 in the Chinese Super League at home last night, with Dalian Aerbin scoring an 88th-minute goal.
Shenhua remained 12th in the 16-team league. Shenhua's left back Feng Renliang scored the goals in the 12th and 68th minutes but Aerbin's Zhou Tong soon narrowed the gap with a long-range shot. Dalian's Nigerian striker equalized in the 88th with a shot from inside Shenhua's box. Meanwhile, Shenhua announced the signing of Colombian midfielder Giovanni Moreno yesterday as its new foreign player following Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba. The 1.9-meter player showed up in the stands at Hongkou Football Stadium yesterday.
