SHANGHAI Shenhua announced last night it had signed Beijing Guo'an midfielder Xu Liang. Xu, who has scored 18 goals for Guo'an in the last three seasons, also confirmed the deal on his microblog yesterday. The 31-year-old said Shenhua chief investor Zhu Jun touched him with his sincerity. The value of the deal was not disclosed. It was also the second major transfer between the rival Chinese Super League clubs in the last two seasons. Shanghai winger Mao Jianqing had moved to Beijing last season.
