SHANGHAI yesterday launched a unique citywide basketball "shooting game" that calls upon students, workers and soldiers to take a million shots on the basket! The event, aptly named Million Shooting, will be held from October 9-11 across 200 schools in the city as well as at companies, communities and at military bases in the city, the Shanghai Sports Bureau announced yesterday. More than 200 students are expected to participate from each school with the best three from each school heading to the final on October 13 where they will vie with the bests from companies, communities and soldiers. Some of them will have a chance to interact with NBA players.
