Speight suspended
AUSTRALIA and ACT winger Henry Speight has been suspended for five weeks for a dangerous tackle and will miss the Brumbies’ Super Rugby semifinal on Saturday against the Hurricanes in Wellington, New Zealand. A SANZAR disciplinary committee found Speight guilty of a dangerous lifting tackle on Stormers center Juan de Jongh in ACT’s 39-19 qualifying final win in Cape Town on Saturday. Speight, 27, will also miss the final if the Brumbies qualify, as well as the first two games of Australia’s Rugby Championship campaign.
