Sri Lanka on top
A CENTURY by veteran Thilan Samaraweera and a two-wicket burst from Chanaka Welegedara put Sri Lanka on top on day two of the second test against South Africa in Durban yesterday. Samaraweera's 102, his 13th test hundred, lifted the tourists to 338 in their first innings before left-arm seamer Welegedara claimed the wickets of South Africa captain Graeme Smith (15) and Jacques Kallis for a duck.
