The 2018 Shanghai Amateur Games Taekwondo Open was held at Putuo Gymnasium this week, attracting around 1,000 taekwondo followers, as well as four-time World Cup Champion and three-time European Championship Pascal Gentil from France. Gentil has two lectures planned for practitioners and as president of World Taekwondo Federation鈥檚 athletes committee, the Frenchman has been working on promoting the sport since his retirement in 2009.
