Vonn dazzles again
LINDSEY Vonn won a Lake Louise downhill for a remarkable ninth time on Saturday and for her tenth World Cup victory in all at the Canadian resort in Alberta. The American's 44th World Cup win, in one minute 51.35 seconds, was just marginally less impressive than the previous day's when she had left nearest rival Tina Weirather of Liechtenstein nearly two seconds adrift. In Beaver Creek, Colorado, Sandro Viletta of Switzerland captured his first World Cup win on Saturday in a super-G. Starting way back at 30th and with snow falling, Viletta soared down Birds of Prey course in 1 minute, 18.71 seconds.
