WRC returns to China

The Rally of China makes its return to the world rally championship in 2016, 17 years after its one and only previous appearance on the calendar.
The September 9-11 tarmac event at Huairou, 70 kilometers outside Beijing, is one of the 14-rally menu announced by organizers, the WRC, on Tuesday. The season starts with the traditional curtain-raiser in Monte Carlo in January and closes in Australia in November.
