WOMEN'S doubles badminton players Wang Xiaoli and Yu Yang of China have withdrawn from the Denmark Open because of Wang's injuries.
Wang Xiaoli was suffering a minor injury when she arrived for the tournament, and her condition did not improve in time for the pair's first round doubles match yesterday. It was the pair's first competition since they were disqualified for appearing to intentionally lose to a South Korean pair at the London Olympics in August.
