Scrumhalf Piri Weepu was yesterday dropped from the All Blacks squad for this month’s Rugby Championships as the selectors favored an uncapped 21-year-old over the 71-test World cup winner.
Wellington Hurricanes scrumhalf T.J. Perenara was named in place of Weepu who has struggled to provide the pace of delivery the Kiwis needed to fuel their attacking game.
