Worsley released

JOE Worsley's chances of playing at a fourth rugby World Cup appear to be over after the flanker was released from England's tournament training squad. The 34-year-old Worsley was released along with hooker George Chuter, New Zealand-born No. 8 Thomas Waldrom, wing David Strettle and versatile back James Simpson-Daniel. Worsley made the first of his 78 international appearances against Tonga at the 1999 World Cup and was a member of the squad that won the 2003 tournament in Australia. He was a replacement in the 2007 final loss to South Africa.
