X-Games in Shanghai
ASIA'S biggest and one of the world's largest extreme games event, the Kia World Extreme Games, is scheduled to be held in Shanghai from June 9-12, organizers announced yesterday. Upgraded from the former Kia X-Games Asia, the world games will include two more categories - FMX Step-up and Speed Climbing - besides the Aggressive In-Line, Skateboard and BMX Freestyle from the previous events. Nearly 200 of the world's top action sports athletes from about 30 countries and regions will compete at the KIC Jiangwan Sports Center. The ticket price has been set at 200 yuan (US$ 32.162) per day though fans can enjoy an Early Bird price of between 60 and 150 yuan per day at www.gewara.com or via the hotline 4000-406-506.
