Peterson at practice

MINNESOTA running back Adrian Peterson is officially back at practice with the Vikings after he was designated for return from injured reserve on Wednesday. Peterson had said on Monday he would return to practice this week and hopes to play on Christmas Eve against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. The 31-year-old former National Football League MVP had been on injured reserve since having surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee suffered in a win over the Packers in the second week of the season.
