Changning District to host maiden half marathon

The 2017 Changning International Half Marathon will be held on November 26, organizers announced yesterday.
In its inaugural year, the event will feature a total of 4,800 runners 鈥 4,500 in the 21-kilometer half marathon and 300 for the 3km health run. Both races will start from Zhongshan Park at 7:30pm on November 26. The half marathon route will cover major roads in Changning District, including Changning Road, Tianshan Road W., Xianxia Road W., Hami Road, Honggu Road and Weining Road before ending at Yan鈥檃n Middle School. Those interested can log on to www.shang-ma.com for registration from October 13 to 18, and spots will be given on first-come first-served basis. The entry fee for the half marathon is 150 yuan (US$22.7) and 80 yuan for the health run.
