Gay clocks 9.94 at South Korea meet
AMERICAN sprinter Tyson Gay won the 100 meters with a time of 9.94 seconds yesterday at the Daegu Pre-Championships Meeting.
Gay beat Asafa Powell of Jamaica, who finished second in 10.00 at the 66,000-seat Daegu Stadium. In the women's 100 meters, Carmelita Jeter of the United States won in 10.83 seconds. It was Tyson's third competition in less than a week.
