OLYMPIC discuss champion Robert Harting revealed yesterday that he will miss the world championships starting in Beijing on August 20.
The reigning three-time word champion is coming back from a serious knee injury but said he doesn’t want to risk his chances of defending his Games crown in Rio next year by rushing his return. The 30-year-old, who is also the two-time reigning European champion, tore his cruciate knee ligament last September.
