Kluft to retire

SWEDEN'S former Olympic, world and European heptathlon champion Carolina Kluft plans to retire after next year's London Olympics to pursue other interests. "By then, it will be time for me to do other things," she told Swedish radio on Wednesday. "I've been active a long time, despite the fact that I'm not that old, and I have so many other things I want to do". Kluft, 28, who switched from the heptathlon to the long and triple jumps in 2008, told Radiosporten that she had little interest in moving into coaching.
