Liu Xiang may sue hospital over flyer photo

CHINESE star hurdler Liu Xiang and his back-up team are still discussing whether to sue a men's health hospital for illegally printing Liu's photo on a flyer about male sexual disorders.

The hospital in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong Province, used a photo showing Liu crashed at the first hurdle of the men's 110m hurdles race during the London Olympics in its flyer.

A sentence under the picture says: "Falling immediately after start! Premature ejaculation is men's unspeakable agony."

A snapshot of the leaflet has been widely circulated on the Internet and caused damage to the 29-year-old athlete.

Li Guoxiong, head of the Chinese hurdle team, said he will discuss with Liu and his coach Sun Haiping whether to bring the hospital to court, the Yangtze Evening News reported today.

The 2004 Olympic champion has been dogged by the problem of a ruptured Achilles tendon since the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

The problem returned shortly before the London Olympics and caused Liu's disastrous fall in the 110-meter hurdles heat.
