SHANGHAI International Marathon organizers unveiled a new competition — Shangma Speed X Series — yesterday. Unlike traditional road running races, Shangma Speed X Series will include cycling, cross-country and other running competitions with more vivid themes, Donghao Lansheng Event Management Co said. The first two competitions of the Shangma Speed X Series will be the SPH 2017 Shanghai Cycling Tournament SIIC Dontan Stage and the Under Armour The Strongest SIIC Dongtan Challenge. The SPH 2017 Shanghai Cycling Tournament will be held in Chongming Island’s Dongtan area on May 20. Registration can be made through www.shang-ma.com. Top three cyclists of the four groups each will get free entry to cycling activities during the 2017 Tour de France China Race on October 29. The Under Armour The Strongest SIIC Dongtan Challenge will be held on May 28, with registration starting from tomorrow.
