ORGANIZERS of the inaugural Yangpu XinJiangWan 8K run have started taking registrations for the event which will be held on October 19.
The 8K run will start and finish at the Experimental School of Shanghai Conservatory of Music on Zhenghe Road in Yangpu District. It will be followed by a 2-km Coca-Cola Happiness Run. The two races will have 5,000 participants. Those interested can log onto www.chinarunning.com or call 021-51325191. There is a 150-yuan registration fee. Prizes will be awarded not just to the winners to the best dressed runner as well.
