Plenty of color in unique Shanghai race

ENJOY a splash of colors? Try competing in the 5-kilometer Color Run For Shanghai race.

The Color Run will be held at the Oriental Sports Center on September 27, organizers of the event said yesterday. Registrations will be accepted from next Wednesday, the same day when other details like information about race fees and participant details will also be announced.

The unusual but fun race will not be timed, instead the competitors will be doused with colors at every kilometer. The fun will continue at the finish line where a “color festival,” with plenty more colors will he held. Runners will asked to dress up in white outfits for “a better effect.”
