Run for fun promotes healthy lifestyle

THE 2017 Vanke Run For Fun was held at Shanghai Auto-Expo Park on Friday, featuring 4,238 runners representing 166 enterprises in Shanghai.

Coming into its fifth year, the untimed running event aims at promoting a healthy lifestyle among local residents. According to the organizer, participants of this year’s event were aged between 19 and 59, who completed the 5-kilometer route before taking part in a city carnival at the finish line.

Vanke Run For Fun has held more than 260 races in over 60 cities around the country since its establishment. About 600,000 people from 15,000 enterprises and 20,000 families have been involved.

The races will continue to visit cities like Tianjin, Dongguan and Chongqing next month.
