Smiles charity run

THE Shangma-Smiles Charity Run was held at Pudong’s Qiantan area yesterday morning, featuring a total of 4,000 runners — 3,000 in the 10-kilometer race and 1,000 in the 3K family run. The event was organized by Shanghai East Best Lansheng Event Management Co, the organizer of Shanghai International Marathon, and Shanghai Smiles Foundation. The top 20 male and female winners were awarded quotas at the Shanghai International 10K Race on October 22. The entry fee the organizers collected were donated to chosen charity programs and organizations, including Shanghai Qingcongquan Training Center, which provides rehabilitation training and coaching to children who suffer from autism.
