The Turkish Athletics Federation banned European 100-meter hurdles champion Nevin Yanit for two years for doping. The federation said Yanit tested positive for banned substances during a competition in Duesseldorf, Germany, in February. Yanit won the European hurdles title at both the 2010 and 2012 competitions.
