Chinese enjoy another sweep
CHINA swept all five titles at the China Masters Superseries yesterday, underlining its immense superiority after pulling off the same feat at the London Olympics.
Many of the top players in the world were missing from the tournament in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, as they take time off after the Olympics. China's Chen Long beat China Hong Kong's unseeded Hu Yun 21-11, 21-13.
World No. 1 Wang Yihan defeated her fourth-seeded compatriot Jiang Yanjiao, while the women's doubles team of Bao Yixin and Zhong Qianxin beat fellow Chinese Cheng Shu and Luo Yu 21-12, 21-15.
