Lee 'uneasy'
THE world's No. 1 badminton player Lee Chong Wei must make sure he does not get too uptight ahead of next week's world championships, according to Malaysia's national team coach. Lee, 27, is top seed in the men's singles at the August 23-29 championships in Paris but in the same half of the draw as Olympic and world champion Lin Dan of China.
"Chong Wei feels uneasy thinking about the world championships. He needs to ease up a little," national coach Misbun Sidek told the New Straits Times newspaper. Lee's best finish at a world championships was third in 2005 and he is likely to meet Lin, who is chasing a fourth consecutive title, in the semifinals.
