Hudson deal

The San Francisco Giants announced a two-year Major League Baseball deal with three-time All-Star Tim Hudson on Monday. The contract for the 38-year-old right-hander, reportedly worth US$23 million, follows last month’s two-year deal for US$35 million to keep two-time National League Cy Young Award winner Tim Lincecum. Hudson, whose 2013 season ended in late July with a fractured right ankle, spent nine years with the Atlanta Braves
