Park calls it quits
FORMER Major League Baseball All-Star Park Chan-ho is retiring after a career spanning nearly two decades in the United States, Japan and South Korea. Park was the first South Korean-born player in the MLB. The 39-year-old right-hander announced his retirement yesterday in Seoul in front of an array of uniforms he has worn. Park holds the MLB record for most wins by an Asian pitcher. His MLB career began with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1994 and included stops with the Texas Rangers, San Diego Padres and New York Yankees.
