76ers overtime win ends Bulls 5-win streak on road
ELTON Brand scored 26 points, and Andre Iguodala had 25 points, eight rebounds and eight assists to help the Philadelphia 76ers beat the Chicago Bulls 106-103 in overtime in the NBA yesterday.
Willie Green added 15 points in place of Allen Iverson, while Lou Williams had 14 points, and Samuel Dalembert finished with 10 points and 13 rebounds. Iverson missed the game because one of his children was ill.
Derrick Rose scored 13 of his 30 points in the fourth quarter and overtime for Chicago. The loss snapped the Bulls' road winning streak at five games.
Raptors 108, Nets 99
At Toronto, Chris Bosh scored 20 points, Sonny Weems set career highs with 14 points and 11 rebounds and short-handed Toronto improved to 5-1 in its last six games.
Andrea Bargnani added 20 points, and Antoine Wright had a season-high 18.
Yi Jianlian and Devin Harris each scored 15 points for New Jersey. The Nets have lost four straight to drop to 4-44 overall. They are 1-24 on the road.
Knicks 107, Wizards 85
At New York, Nate Robinson scored 23 points, and David Lee had 22 points and 10 rebounds to help New York snap a three-game losing streak.
Robinson also had eight assists and six rebounds.
Brendan Haywood and Nick Young each scored 15 points for Washington, which played without starting forward Caron Butler (bruised left knee).
Hawks 103, Clippers 97
At Atlanta, Joe Johnson scored 34 points, Jamal Crawford added 22, and Atlanta overcame a nine-point, fourth-quarter to improve to 20-5 at home.
Chris Kaman and Eric Gordon each scored 17 points, and Marcus Camby had six points and 20 rebounds for Los Angeles, 2-6 on its eight game trip.
