Bogut sidelined
THE Golden State Warriors will rest Andrew Bogut for seven to 10 days as the Australian big man's surgically repaired left ankle continues to heal. Bogut, a former No. 1 overall selection in the National Basketball Association draft, has been slow to recover from a broken ankle he suffered back in January, when he was still with the Milwaukee Bucks. He has played in four of the Warriors' five games so far this season, but averaged barely more than 18 minutes per game. The 27-year-old was acquired from the Bucks last March in a blockbuster trade that sent high-scoring guard Monta Ellis to Milwaukee.
