Clippers record 12th straight home victory

THE Los Angeles Clippers set a franchise record with their 12th straight home victory, beating the Golden State Warriors 115-89 on Saturday to open a four-game lead atop the NBA's Pacific Division.

San Antonio, Indiana and New York were among the other divisional leaders to boast victories.

Clippers star Chris Paul had 27 points and nine assists while Blake Griffin added 20 points for Los Angeles, which opened a 23-point lead through the first quarter and were untroubled in moving half a game ahead of San Antonio and Oklahoma City for the overall league lead.

Their previous best home winning streak was set in 1978-79, their first season in San Diego after the franchise left Buffalo.

Klay Thompson had a team-high 14 points for the Warriors.

The San Antonio Spurs are proving almost as hard to beat at home as the Clippers, notching a 10th straight victory with a 109-86 win over the Philadelphia 76ers.

Tony Parker had 20 points and Manu Ginobili for the Spurs.

Spencer Hawes had a game-high 22 points for Philadelphia, which has lost three straight.

The Indiana Pacers moved half a game above Chicago for the Southwest Division lead by beating the Milwaukee Bucks 95-80.

Roy Hibbert had 20 points.
