SHANGHAI Sports Institute has won the city's college basketball league championship after beating defending champion Shanghai Jiaotong University 64-55 in the final last night.
It was the first league title for the college. SJU had won the championship in the past two years. Twenty-nine teams, both men and women, from 21 colleges participated in the league this year, organizers revealed. It was the first time that the league organized women's games.
