Donewald quits Xinjiang job
THE Chinese Basketball Association confirmed on Tuesday that Jiang Xingquan will replace Robert Donewald Jr. as the head coach of the Xinjiang Flying Tigers.
The CBA said on its official website that "Jiang Xingquan will start his job as the head coach of the Xinjiang Flying Tigers in the 14th round of the CBA." Donewald had his first two-year spell in the CBA with the Shanghai Sharks and signed a two-year contract with Xinjiang this summer. Xinjiang won seven out of 11 matches under Donewald and is currently fifth in the league. Donewald is also the head coach of the Chinese national men's team.
