James limps out of game
LEBRON James left the Miami Heat exhibition game against CSKA Moscow on Tuesday after grabbing at his right hamstring in obvious discomfort.
The Heat said James was cramping, and his return to the game was uncertain.
James came back to the Heat bench - without a limp - about 2 1/2 minutes into the fourth quarter.
James reached for his right hamstring with 3:51 left in the third quarter, walking with a bit of a limp off the floor and then quickly through the tunnel toward the Miami locker room. He was followed moments later by Dwyane Wade, who is sidelined with a right hamstring strain.
Wade emerged after a few minutes, smiling when he took his seat on the Heat bench.
James had played 26 minutes in the exhibition against the Euroleague club, scoring 22 points with seven assists and four rebounds. He was replaced by Patrick Beverley.
In Mexico City, Gary Neal hit a 3-pointer with 1.5 seconds left to complete the San Antonio Spurs' comeback from an 18-point deficit in a 100-99 preseason victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday.
DeJuan Blair led San Antonio with 21 points, while Tim Duncan added 17 points and 13 rebounds in front of nearly 19,000 people at Mexico City's Palacio de los Deportes for the 19th NBA game played in Mexico.
Eric Gordon was the Clippers' top scorer with 23 points, and Rasual Butler added 20.
