Jordan for Sixers

EDDIE Jordan has agreed in principle to become the head coach of the Philadelphia 76ers, the NBA team said on Friday.

Jordan is a former head coach of the Washington Wizards and the Sacramento Kings, compiling a 230-288 record over eight seasons. Jordan replaces Tony DiLeo, the team's senior vice president and assistant general manager who took over after Maurice Cheeks was fired in December.
