Lee signs one-year contract with Knicks
THE New York Knicks have reached an agreement to retain power forward David Lee, the New York Post reported yesterday.
Lee, a restricted free agent, will sign a one-year contract worth US$8 million that includes a US$500,000 incentive clause for making the playoffs, the Post said.
Lee averaged 16 points and 11.7 rebounds last season while leading the NBA with 65 double-doubles. The Knicks are also reportedly close to an agreement with guard Nate Robinson, who is also a restricted free agent.
