Million Shooting a prelude to NBA China game

SHANGHAI launched a citywide basketball shooting game this afternoon encouraging students from middle school to college, workers and soldiers to shoot a total of 1 million balls in the event.
Called Million Shooting, the event will run from October 9 to 11 in 200 Shanghai schools as well as in factories, communities and army barracks, the Shanghai Sports Bureau said today.
The bureau estimates that each school will have more than 200 students participating in the game and the best three of each school will join the top shooters from companies, communities and military units in the final on October 13 to interact with NBA players during the NBA China game.
