INJURED New Jersey Nets forward Yi Jianlian has cut his lip while playing 3-on-3 after practice on Saturday and needed 50 stitches to close the wound that was caused by an inadvertent elbow.
The Chinese Olympian will be evaluated today.
Yi has been sidelined since injuring his right knee in a game against Charlotte early last month.
