Sharks out after 3rd straight loss

The Shanghai Sharks became the first team to be eliminated from the CBA playoffs after their third-straight defeat to the defending champions Guangdong Southern Tigers.
The Sharks lost 88-101 yesterday in the best-of-five series in Dongguan with Guangdong forward Yi Jianlian scoring a game-high 38 points and grabbing 16 rebounds. Shanghai finished eighth in the regular CBA season. Guangdong will face the winner of Beijing Ducks and Zhejiang Lions in the semifinals with the Ducks holding a 2-1 advantage.
