Suspended coach back in the job
CHINA'S under-19 basketball coach Fan Bin is back in his job after his suspension was revoked by the Chinese Basketball Association.
Fan was suspended by the CBA after several players complained against him earlier this month. They sent a letter to the CBA, accusing the coach of "repeated abuse, insults and beatings". The CBA has urged Fan to correct his actions while saying the young players' reactions were immature. Fan led the Chinese under-17 team to 7th place at the world championship in 2010 and coached the Chinese under-18 team to the Asian title later. He signed a long-term contract with the CBA to coach the under-19 team, which is expected to be the core squad at the 2016 Olympic Games.
