Washington, Texas schools to play in China next year

THE University of Washington will face the University of Texas in a groundbreaking regular season men’s basketball game in China next year.
The collegiate offering will be the first regular-season college or pro matchup for a US league in China. And Pacific-12 Conference commissioner Larry Scott sees the China game becoming an annual event. The Pacific-12 Conference is a collegiate athletic conference that operates in the western United States.
The game will be staged on the morning of November 14, 2015, and be telecast live in the United States.
