Wizards take 2nd in row, beat Trail Blazers 97-92

ANTAWN Jamison scored 21 of his 28 points after halftime and Caron Butler made two big baskets down the stretch as the Washington Wizards put together a rare winning streak yesterday with a 97-92 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers.
Randy Foye added 19 points and Butler had 18 for the Wizards, who made 25 of 28 free throws and shot 52 percent from the field.
Andre Miller scored 20 of his 22 points in the second half before fouling out with 19 seconds to play, LaMarcus Aldridge also scored 22 points and had a season-high 15 rebounds, and Martell Webster added 18 points for the Trail Blazers, who had a two-game winning streak snapped as they opened a four-game road trip.
Knicks 99, Pistons 91
At New York, Nate Robinson showed his game is much more than dunks, scoring 27 points to lead New York to a victory and a split of a home-and-away series with Detroit.
Robinson made five 3-pointers, one during a 7-0 spurt that started the fourth quarter and gave the Knicks the lead for good.
Fellow reserve Al Harrington and Wilson Chandler each added 17 points as the Knicks bounced back from consecutive losses, including Saturday's 94-90 defeat in Detroit, and improved to 18-6 on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Rodney Stuckey scored 22 for the short-handed Pistons.
Thunder 94, Hawks 91
At Atlanta, Kevin Durant scored 29 points, and Jeff Green had 15 points and 11 rebounds as Oklahoma City ended Atlanta's three-game winning streak.
Durant made his first 14 free-throw attempts before his 15th bounced off the rim in the final seconds. Atlanta's Josh Smith called timeout in mid-air after grabbing the rebound.
Joe Johnson scored 23 points for the Hawks. Smith had 18 points and 12 assists for Atlanta, which had won five of six.
Bobcats 105, Kings 103
At Charlotte, North Carolina, Gerald Wallace shook off an ankle injury to score 28 points and Raymond Felton finished a rebound short of a triple-double as Charlotte held off a furious Sacramento comeback bid.
Charlotte led 82-58 with 4 minutes left in the third quarter before Tyreke Evans helped the Kings get within a point.
Rockets 101, Bucks 98, OT
At Houston, Luis Scola scored a season-high 27 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, and Aaron Brooks dished out 10 assists to offset a bad shooting game as Houston beat Milwaukee in overtime.
Carl Landry and Chase Budinger scored 12 points each for the Rockets.
Brandon Jennings scored 25 points and Andrew Bogut had 18 points and 17 rebounds for the Bucks.
Clippers 106, Nets 95
At Los Angeles, Chris Kaman had 22 points and seven rebounds in his return to the lineup as Los Angeles snapped a four-game skid.
Marcus Camby had 17 points and 14 rebounds, and Craig Smith added 18 points off the bench.
Point guard Baron Davis had nine points and nine assists before sitting out the fourth quarter.
Timberwolves 108, 76ers 103, OT
At Minneapolis, Jonny Flynn had a career-high 29 points and nine assists and Minnesota rallied from 20 points down to beat Philadelphia in overtime.
Al Jefferson added 23 points and 13 rebounds to help the Timberwolves complete their biggest comeback of the season against the stunned Sixers.
Andre Iguodala had 17 points, seven rebounds and five assists for the Sixers but missed a jumper at the buzzer that would have given Philadelphia the win in regulation.
Spurs 97, Hornets 90
At New Orleans, Tony Parker scored 25 points as San Antonio handed New Orleans a rare home loss.
Tim Duncan added 21 points and 14 rebounds, while George Hill scored 16 points and Manu Ginobili had 11 to help the Spurs snap a two-game losing streak.
David West scored 18 points for New Orleans, which lost for only the second time in its last 15 home games. Chris Paul had 18 points and nine assists for the Hornets, while Marcus Thornton scored 16 points.
Warriors 114, Bulls 97
At Oakland, California, Monta Ellis had 36 points, eight assists and five rebounds, and Corey Maggette added 32 points, six rebounds and five assists as short-handed Golden State snapped a three-game losing streak.
Stephen Curry had 26 points, 10 rebounds and six assists and Andris Biedrins grabbed a season-high 19 rebounds to go with a career-best eight blocked shots as Golden State ended Chicago's four-game winning streak.
Grizzlies 125, Suns 118
At Memphis, Tennessee, Rudy Gay scored 31 points and Zach Randolph added 27 points and 11 rebounds as Memphis finished a four-game home stretch undefeated.
O.J. Mayo added 28 points for Memphis, while Marc Gasol had 19 points.
Six Suns were in double figures led by Steve Nash with 22 points and 12 assists. Robin Lopez had a career-high 19 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the field, and Grant Hill scored 16. Leandro Barbosa finished with 14, and Amare Stoudemire added 12 points and nine rebounds. Louis Amundson had 10 points for the Suns, who dropped their fourth straight.
